Missouri voters approved CLEAN Missouri in 2018 to enact a new process for redrawing legislative boundaries and other democratic safeguards. SJR 38 in the 2020 General Assembly is the preferred vehicle for sending the redistricting provisions of Amendment 1, or Clean Missouri, back to the voters as a new ballot proposition in the November 2020 election. This is an underhanded effort to avoid enacting the new process. When voters demand reform this clearly, their will must be respected. Tell your legislators that you think they should respect the ballot process and the will of the people, and leave Amendment 1 intact.

Ask your State Rep.to oppose SJR 38, and to fight efforts to undermine Amendment 1.

The hearing on this bill is scheduled for Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 4:30pm in the General Laws Committee.

That way we can hold elected leaders accountable because we know who they’re hearing from.
