Missouri Coalition for the Environment is hosting its second Springfield Eco-Org Networking Event for organizations in and around the Springfield region that are working to improve our environment. The event on Thursday, April 30, 2026 is intended to bring individuals representing various environmental, sustainability, and conservation organizations together to network and build relationships. Attendance is limited to individuals who work with or who volunteer with organizations in and around the Springfield area who are working to improve the environment.
Location: Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center, 405 N. Jefferson Avenue, Springfield, MO in the Forvis Mazars Room.
Goals
- Relationship building – A space where employees/volunteers from environmental organizations can meet and understand each other
- Information dissemination – A space to discuss what your organization does and your wants/needs/desires from the communityÂ
- Collaboration – A space to discuss what needs to be done that isn’t being done and how groups could work together to address it, to discuss what your organization is not able to do that others could help with, to discuss where you need more volunteers or participants, and to discuss how we can support one another
Overview
9:00am – Networking – morning beverages and snacks provided
9:30am – Introductions: every attendee will be given a brief opportunity to introduce themselves, their organization, and the work they are undertaking
10:00am – Presentations from:
