Thursday, November 10, 2022 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm Westport Playhouse
635 W Port Plaza Dr.
St. Louis, MO

You’re invited to our upcoming screening of Atomic Homefront at Westport Playhouse.

Learn about St. Louis’ history as a processing center of uranium for the first atomic bombs, where the radioactive waste from this processing was eventually dumped into the West Lake Landfill, Coldwater Creek, and other locations around North St. Louis as part of the Manhattan Project.

Until recently, many nearby residents were unaware of the waste and the impact it had on the quality of life for them and their neighbors.

  • Doors open – 6:30pm
  • Film begins – 7:00 pm
  • Q&A Panel – 8:40pm

Afterwards, the audience is invited to stay for a post-film Q&A panel with Robbin Dailey, a resident who appears in the film, alongside Missouri state representative Doug Clemons, Just Moms STL, & MCE’s Christen Commuso.

This event is free to the public. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
