Travel stipends are available to individuals who need financial assistance to travel to Jefferson City, MO or Washington, D.C. to use their voice to advocate for/against an environmental health issue affecting them and their community.
Applicants must be located in one of the following counties to be eligible for a travel stipend:
St. Louis Region
- St. Louis City
- St. Louis County
- Jefferson County
- St. Charles County
- Franklin County
Ozark Region
- Christian
- Dallas
- Greene
- Polk
- Stone
- Taney
- Webster
Southwest Region
- Barry
- Barton
- Dade
- Jasper
- Lawerence
- McDonald
- Newton
Applicants may apply for up to $350 for travel to Jefferson City, MO and $750 to travel to Washington, D.C. to further their advocacy efforts to address an environmental health issue in their community. Applicants may apply for multiple travel stipends per year, but there is a limit of only one award per person per year.
Applicants who live in historically disadvantaged communities will be given preference.
