MCE is looking for volunteers to become Regional Captains in the area of Missouri they live. This new initiative will empower our members to reach more people in our state to educate, organize, and advocate in defense of Missouri’s people and their environment, and it will bring us closer to our vision of having the people of Missouri, regardless of race, income, or geography, live in and demand a clean, safe, and protected environment, now and for generations to come.
Regional Captains will:
- Share information and calls to action from MCE
- Attend public meetings and events on behalf of MCE to share and gather info
- Provide insights into the environmental issues facing people in their region to MCE staff
- Organize meetings, events, or volunteer opportunities related to environmental issues in their region
MCE will empower Regional Captains with printed and promotional materials to help accomplish these goals, and Regional Captains will be in regular communication with MCE staff.
