Their Food Story: Slow Food St. Louis is a local chapter of Slow Food USA, which offers Micro-grants to support biodiversity in St. Louis, provide weekly Slow Wednesday events at Schlafly, other educational events, and provide an online directory of good slow fair food producers, grocery stores, farmers markets, CSAs, and restaurants.
A Person Behind the Project: Kevin is President of Slow Food St. Louis, works at Fair Shares Combined Community Supported Agriculture (CCSA), and recently started his own tortilla company, La Tortilla Buena, using locally sourced ingredients.
